Possible Rematch at Wrestlemania?

We might get to see a confrontation with HHH and Taker at Wrestlemania...yet again. This will be the 3rd match between these two at the biggest stage of em all. Really?

Undertaker has already beaten HBK 2 times. So that means 4/19 victories at WM personally came from DX. While I can see the reason Taker would face HHH(no one has given Taker that big of an ass whooping before), I believe it is the easy decision for Vince to slate this match at WM.

I would much rather see Wade Barrett or Sheamus or some superstar like that take on the streak. Even if they are unsuccessful, they will still get a major boost.

With all that said, what do ya'll think about this?

I think it's going to be one of the most pointless matches in mania history when it comes to matches of that magnitude unless 3rd time was a charm and Triple H broke the streak which would be a whole other issue. Have grown tired of the Taker goes away for the whole year until mania season then shows up deal anyways so to have him comeback just to do the same match we've already seen twice just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Match may be good and all but don't see the purpose besides we need to give these two vets something to do again.

Can you really be mad at him the past two year, speaking of Taker? He worked 2010 because they needed him to he got buried alive. They had him out there when his knee was needed to be scoped. Then he worked mania with a rotator cuff fresh off surgery that had a rehab which would have had him out to the winter of 2011 anyway. He set himself back some but he got his other knicks and bruises taken care of in his time off. It is like being pissed at Rey for being hurt because the guy was literally hurt. He worked until October/November of 2010 and had a medical reason to miss 2011. It isn't like he was healthy and said I'm just going to chill and show up for Mania the past two years, as he really should not have been asked to work last year but was and did while injured.

Well put, and at this stage of his career with injuries piled up he can only do so much. No way should he be expected to carry a full schedule or anything more then what he is willing to do.

Wade Barrett is a useless sack of monkey shit who even being in the same arena as Undertaker at the Wm28 event will diminish it.

I am all for the match and cannot wait to see it. All of you bitch, moan and hate now, come April 1st you'll be jizzing your daks creaming about how good it was.

How the match ends up being isn't what I'm concerned about. If it's a great match it's a great match but it still won't change my stance on it at the end of the day because it just doesn't make sense to do the same match at mania for the 3rd time. Wanna see Trips face someone else and if you gotta do a streak match rather see someone else who could use the spot face Taker.

And PSYCH yeah I know I'm not saying Taker should work full time nor have I expected him to for the past 3 years just saying it gets kind of tiresome seeing the same story with him justified or not.

But my point was Taker has been as full time as HBK was, basically all TV and ppv, up until late 2010. It wasn't like he wasn't active in 08, 09, and 10 before, during, and after Mania. I get the gripe of just walking in at this mania and last, but he shouldn't have ever been asked to even work the last one as he could have spent the first 9-10 months rehabbing like he was supposed to and returned at Survivor Series to the roster and been more active at the Rumble and all.

I know you would not say make him a full time guy and work live events and stuff. I also know your beef is Part 3 of him and Trips when he and Trips could be doing other things. I get it but it was basically like I said to Sal, the young alternatives all have paths seemingly before them outside Wade who can't wrestle that well for that caliber of match. I also get and grant you that ideally in a perfect world, HHH would have had something else to do and they wouldn't have blown their load with the Punk feud this summer

While I really don't care at this point about Taker showing up once a year or Taker vs. Hunter at Wrestlemania I can't blame them for doing it since besides Cena, Orton or Punk there really isn't a guy on the roster that would draw much interest in a match much less make anyone think the streak is ending. My only problem is if they add HBK to the match and do needless overbooking, but otherwise it'd be the exact same match as last year.

It is the same match as last year, but I'll bet anyone the match itself is better. HHH had not wrestled in a year leading up to WM25 because of a bicep and neck injury. Taker didn't even have full mobility in a shoulder and wasn't cleared to be out there. They stole the show consensus wise at the event and got voted the best match there, but both men know they can do better than what they did last year, and honestly it may be their pride saying we got to get this right this year since both are healthy and not hobbled or rusty.

They had a great match for anyone in WWE last year. The thing is they did not have a great match for Taker and HHH standards, and their mania standards. I honestly feel they will raise the bar

I'm sure they'll try to kill themselves to top last year's match but even then I don't know if it'll be different enough from last year's match to make people forget about it and not see this one as just a copy of it. Maybe with the build and story it'll get there and they have time enough for it but right now I just can't get excited for another Taker/HHH match at Wrestlemania.
