10/10 because of road dogg

Well where to start.
Steel Cage Match Rating 5/10
Wasn't good in my opinion and Mark Henry being injured did not help matters he should've been given time to rest and hopefully he would be able to come back in time for Mania or at least be better rested for it anyway.
8 Diva Match up.
With Beth winning I am actually hoping that we see Kharma vs Beth soon hopefully at Wrestlemania because it would be a great match up as for this match pretty meh Bella's are hopeless, Eve for someone who's boyfriend got the shit beaten out of him by Kane she looked fine going into the match.
Cena vs Kane
I didn't like the fact that they ended in a double count out the way the match had gone I felt it should've been Kane's but I guess we have to make sure that Cena remains strong coming up to his feud with the Rock just hoping that Kane manages to remain strong in the process.
Clay vs Drew
Unless its 5 minutes or more it stays off the PPV, this time could've been used for the Rumble.
Punk vs Ziggler
Some people say Dolph got buried here I don't think so I think that Dolph has been great and this year there learning from mistakes and actually put him in the chamber now they need to fire Zeke, Khali and Ryan and good Raw and Smackdown become good again lol
Royal Rumble Match
Wasn't happy with the low amount of stars hell some of those guys don't even last the time they were in there for a long time but there was some entertainment, Socko vs Cobra was good, Kharma's return was good, Road Dogg's return at the Rumble was awesome.
Cole and Lawler and Booker should be ahamed to actually be in the match they had no chance and I am glad it didn't I just wish someone planted Cole good

The best way I can sum up this years Royal Rumble was that it felt like Summerslam 2011 all over again. An event which should have been a wrestling high light of the year, with the main focus on in-ring action, which in reality felt like an extended version of Raw, with far too many back stage segments or video clips and the bonus matches just hindered the flow of the show even more. It took far to long to get going and in the end was nothing special even when it did.
World Title
Too short and with a cheap finish. Bryan worked the crowd very well and some of the exchanges with Show were sharp, but pretty unremarkable and having it in the cage was pointless.

Women's Match
By current standeds this was not bad, and I too see it as a postive that Beth was made to look so strong. Still fans have seen these matches so many times now, and the fact this had no promotion going in left it feeling a bit flat for me.

Cena VS. Kane
It is time to except that Kane just is not the worker he once was. This was a very tame and half hearted brawl, which was partly saved by how short it was. Would have liked to have seen Kane win it, as it would have done Cena no halm and chances are there will be a rematch anyway. The post match angle was so silly, it felt like something Vince Russio would book. Yes I can see they are trying to make Kane look like a monster, but there are better ways to do it than in this thrown together, pointless feud. The stuff with Ryder was more comical than anything else.

Clay VS. Mactyre
Sqaush matches should only appear on ppv if they are for a Vader/Yokozuna type debut. Lets face it, its not as if Drew is a big enough name to give Clay that much of a rub anyway.

WWE Title
Match of the night, by quite some distance. The crowd heat was great, there were some fantastic techical wrestling back and fourth, as well as exciting spots and tight near falls. These two had great chelmstry and Dolph was enhanced as a result of shining the spotlight with Punk. However once again the match was a bit on the short side and while Ziggler did benefit to a point, he was still over shadowed by Punk/JL storyline. On that note I expected more to happen between the guest ref and Punk, WWE made a big deal of building the match around it, and then hold back. Seems to me that they were too interested in hyping raw the next night.

Royal Rumble match
Well compared to its glory years recent rumble matches have been a bit underwelming, although I did enjoy last years. This certainly never threated to be a classic, it felt like a return to the full on comedy rumbles we have seen from time to time (99 for example), but I have to say for the most part it did keep me entertained and showed what WWF/WWE have in the past done better than any other company. Seems I am in the minoty here, but I really got a kick out of all three annoucers being guests entrants! It was a nice twist and once King and Booker had been in, it became like a guilty pleasure to see Cole do his thing, also enjoyed them mocking each other afterwards, it didn't take up too much time, so fine for me. Roaddog got a good response and added to the colour of the match, Rhodes and Miz both had good showings suggesting than WWE still have big plans for them both, and for me we had the right out come. Sheamus was the most logical choice and like last year with Del Rio it is nice to see WWE backing youth. Like I said it was no classic, it felt a bit rushed, but it certainly was not one of the worse rumbles I have seen, it was entertaining and served a purpose.
