Nice buyrate, I liked the PPV and it had some pretty good matches with an okay build.According to early numbers from WWE, the 2011 TLC pay-per-view did under 200,000 buys. This event featured CM Punk vs. The Miz vs. Alberto Del Rio in the main event for the WWE title. WWE officials were expecting it to be the lowest buyrate of the year but it looks like it did a bit better than they expected.

I can't remember what numbers most pay-per-views tend to come up with, but I think they're normally better than 200,000. Not by much, but still better.
Still think it's funny that the WWE expected it do bad in their estimation, so they dropped the pay-per-view in favour of Bragging Rights. It's as if they think they're doing everything right and it's just a mixture of different factors as to why people don't buy the PPVs. If the PPVs were a better quality, maybe people won't risk a dodgy stream and will actually buy them. Dropping a pay-per-view in favour of another won't solve their long term problem.

Most PPVs are around 200k but usually above, Survivor Series only got like 250k.
It was the time in between each PPV, there was barely any credible feuds and good builds which means there'd be no point in seeing the match, the WWE Creative team were really slacking. WWE need to bring back KOTR.
Btw, this is the PPV Cena wasn't on.

Still solid numbers, at $45 a pop 200,000 buys equals a hell of a lot of money. And if thats the standard they are making around 10 million per ppv before expenses.

This is really good considering this was the first PPV in a long time that Cena was not on in any kind of way. Pretty much was one of the best PPV's of the year so this is cool.

This is a really good number considering WWE didn't put much effort in building this PPV, plus John Cena wasn't on the card because WWE thought it was going to fail anyway. Just goes to show that some of these others wrestlers can draw paying customers.
Also B PPVs normally get between 150k-175k PPV buys so if this is 200k that is a really good result even if it just holds steady with what the PPV did last year with 195k buys.

Buyrates have been sinking for them the last few years, Mania aside.
Meltzer posted the worst buyrates in company history and 6 out of the 'top 10' were from last year.
MITB did well though, as expected with the huge hype around CM Punk at the time.

WWE have countered the decline a bit by increasing the prices to ensure that the total revenue remains about the same. It would be better for them if they dropped the price for B PPV's and made them more affordable and then charged the current price for the big 4 PPVs.

What I'm surprised about is the fact Australia get it cheaper than USA.. Weird.
Card deserved to be shat on. No build, no hype (like most WWE PPV's anyway). Can't believe people paid for a card that was a bunch of random thrown together matches. Teddy Long style yo!
