Event Results From Contenders Cup (02/25/12)

Hey all, super big thanks to everyone that made it out to CONTENDERS CUP! It was a solid show from top to bottom and the party was non-stop with our post-show celebration at Big League Brews in Taylor, MI! CLASH Wrestling is back full-force as its 2012 season rolls on to Saturday, March 31st for our fourth installment of CLASH TO THE FUTURE! Details forthcoming…

RESULTS (02/25/2012):

** “Amazing” N8 Mattson kicked things off on the mic introducing his new role for CLASH Wrestling – interviewing competitors live on the event to stir things up amidst the competition. First guest, CLASH Champion Petey Williams (c) but is quickly interrupted by “GQ” Gavin Quinn. Quinn stated that his rematch clause gave him the option to choose the stipulation for their match, so upon request – Petey cannot use his “Canadian Destroyer” finisher. Upon Petey agreeing to the stipulation, Quinn snatched the belt and hit Petey with it, then asking for the match to begin.

* Petey Williams (c) def. “GQ” Gavin Quinn via small package pin to retain the CLASH Championship.

* Will Vendetta def. “American Nightmare” Hakim Zane

* “Swagg Starr” Dave Manzo def. Austin Manix via pinfall.

** Interim CEO, Dragon Greed immediately made his way out following Manix putting on a post-match attack on Manzo. Greed offered Manix a contract for the “???” spot in the main event, however Manzo made his way back in knocking out Manix allowing Randy “Wreckingball” Casey to make his way from his seat in the crowd to sign the contract!

* H3RD (Tommy Treznik & Ded Vaughn) (c) def. Too Sweet (Bryce Benjamin & Joey Marx) & The Painkillers (Donnie & Jacob Hallows) to retain the CLASH Tag Team Championships.

* Mena Libra def. Leah Von Dutch via pinfall.

** Mason Conrad of the former Victorious Secret tag team makes an open challenge.

* Joey Marx of Too Sweet def. Mason Conrad via pinfall. Post-Match: Conrad challenged Too Sweet to a tag team match w/ a partner of his choosing next month.

* “Ace High” Cameron Skyy def. J.Miller, SharkBoy, “Caveman” Tyler Elkins, Dragon Greed, & Wreckingball in the Contenders Cup match to become the new #1 contender.

Once again enjoyable family product. Enjoyed the title matches and like the development with Skyy the last few months. Felt the last show was fantastic so this one didn't quite live up but enjoyed it none the less and look forward to CLASH to the Future!
