What better time to start this thread than when TNA draws one of it's highest numbers of all time.

The 3/3 edition of Impact did a 1.36 rating with 1,847,000 viewers. That is up from last week's show and is a good number for them.

Excellent number for TNA and it shows that the wedding and Sting's return drew.

Can they back it up next week?

The 3/17 edition of Impact did a 1.28 rating with 1,781,000 viewers.

Note the rating for 3/10 was 1.25.

A slight drop in ratings from the initial rating posted in this thread but it is still higher numbers than what TNA were getting last year. Not sure how they rated that highly this week when there was less than ten minutes of wrestling on the show and it just seemed to be a thrown together show.

The 4/7 edition of Impact did a 1.15 rating with 1,528,000 viewers.

The rating has been around the 1.2 mark for some time now. So they have dropped a little but overall they have kept it pretty steady.

The 4/14 edition of Impact did 1.14 rating with 1,540,000 viewers. That is right around what it did last week (a 1.15) but the show has been trending downward overall in the last few months.

So basically the same rating as last week. TNA are spending so much more money on talent but that isn't translating into higher ratings.

The 4/21 edition of Impact did a 1.17 rating with 1,730,000 viewers.

Similar rating but there were 190,000 more people watching which is the important number.

The 4/28 edition of Impact did a 1.09 rating with 1,510,000 viewers.

Drop in the rating and a drop in viewership. Still TNA have a reasonable steady rating, since the beginning of the year it has been on a slight decline from around 1.3 down to 1.1.

This past Thursday’s episode of TNA iMPACT scored a 1.15 cable rating. The first hour did a 1.06 rating while the second hour did a 1.23. The 1.06 first-hour rating is the lowest first-hour rating of 2011. This week’s show drew 1,567,000 viewers.

Slight bump in the rating and also in the viewership. TNA can't get out of that range. I am surprised that the rating has remained so high though, I expected it to drop below 1 due to the writing.

Dang 1.15? Were people really that interested in the whole angle thing it got people to tune into this. None the less good job by TNA for getting a good bump in ratings. Hopefully they can change some things and get the ball rolling.

I think it's fair to say that the reveals (sorry, the announcers drummed it into my head last night) edition of Impact was a success in getting eyeballs to the set. People interested to see who the network mole was and the debut of Chyna tuned in as the show did a 1.27 rating with 1,809,000 viewers. It was up from the recent numbers that the show has been doing.

Good bump for Impact Wrestling. The key is whether they can retain those viewers next week or if it drops back to the same 1.15 rating.

The final cable rating and viewership estimates for this week’s episode of iMPACT Wrestling on Spike TV are now available. TNA Wrestling’s flagship show had a strong increase in both its final ratings number and overall viewership as compared to last week. This week’s episode of the show scored a final cable rating of 1.17 which represented about 1,714,000 viewers over the course of the show’s two hours. This week’s final rating is 0.09 of a point lower (and about 95,000 less viewers) than last weeks episode, which scored a final cable rating of 1.26 with an average audience of 1,809,000 viewers

We also know a little bit about the ratings breakdown by hour from this week’s show. The first hour of this week’s iMPACT Wrestling on Spike TV scored a final cable rating of 1.14 while the second hour scored a final cable rating of 1.20.

So a drop back to the steady rating. Shows that some people were interested in seeing the surprises but decided against tuning in next week.
